Arelen/Larxene
In a word, complicated. After Arelen confessed her feelings to Demyx, he isn't entirely sure what to think. He knows they are friends, he wants to be friends with her, but he isn't entirely sure something more is on the horizon. He has a lot of growing and changing to do, and the point of contention between them is the fact he still doesn't have a heart, although surprisingly he is very upset about the turn of events. It's likely no longer being roommates will allow them to nurture their friendship without the added frustration of trying to live together. |

Lea/Axel
Mostly, Demyx is a little wary of Lea. He's not entirely sure that his safety is assured around him, considering what he's heard from Arelen on the subject, and the fact that Zexion has been telling him constantly not to trust him. That said, Lea hasn't given him a reason to believe betrayal is on the horizon, but he's cautious, and doesn't want Lea to know it. Lea gave him the worst news he's heard in a long time, and while appreciative, he's also resenting the messenger a little bit. He thinks they'd get along well if it weren't for the past, but the past haunts them all. He also thinks that when he gets his heart back, maybe they can be closer friends. He's been hiding from Lea for the most part, but he does want to reach out to him more. |

Xion
He has no memory of Xion, and she didn't exactly leave an impression on him when they met. He's a little weirded out by her, to be honest, and he doesn't think she's terribly interested in his friendship offer, so he doesn't know what to make of her. He also never sees her, which seems strange. |

 |
Zexion
Coincidentally the only one looking out for his Nobody side, Demyx isn't entirely sure if he should be trusting Zexion at all. Zexion seems resistant to change, and their relationship is distant at best. He wants to bring Zexion along for the heart making ride, but he isn't sure he can convince him to do it. He has some level of respect to the hierarchy of the Organization which means he views Zexion as his superior, but he's also going to leave him behind if he has to. He's looking to the future, but ideally, he'd like to drag him along kicking and screaming. |

Scott Summers
Demyx does not actually know Scott! He has a high opinion of him by proxy, because his best friend likes Scott, which means he will be trying to get to know him at some point. He's also ready to defend his friend's honour if he needs to - so he'd better watch his back if he does something untoward! |

 |
Sonata Dusk
He only spoke to her once, but he likes her and thinks they should talk more, after all, what's a music friend but a kindred spirit? |
|
 |
Krista Leigh
Krista is a friend, he likes her a lot. She's always fun to talk to, and he's heard she has some serious dance moves. He bid on her at the auction so he could get a date to go dancing with. Talking to her feels like there's no pressure, unlike Arelen the only other female he really knows, and he kind of appreciates it. |

 |
Theodore Satchel
Unlike many people, he doesn't find Ted especially annoying. He even sparred with him, and would consider him a friend, but he's having some skepticism about his involvement in his friendship with Arelen. Something seems unusual there...but aside from an argument over the merits of the religious celebration of Christmas, he tends to get along with Ted. He's too lazy to hold a grudge. |

Shinjiro Agaraki
The best way to sum up Shinjiro, is that he's Demyx's best friend. While that is probably not mutual, he's someone Demyx met early on and they bonded over music and a shared eating experience. Shinjiro isn't as friendly as Demyx tries to be, but that hasn't stopped him from becoming attached to the other man. Shinjiro has been there with advice when he needs it, and Demyx has offered something of solace or shelter in return. He offers no judgement, and Shinjiro seems to respond to that. He confessed he was feeling something to Shinjiro first,
and although that's not Shinjiro's area of expertise, he's managed to help him find a safe outlet to take out his frustrations. He offers a camaraderie that Demyx has missed in his life. |

Cassian Andor
While Shinjiro is Demyx's best friend, and provides him with an outlet, if he needs to talk,
he runs to Cassian. While Cassian may not be thrilled with it, he seems to tolerate it well.
Demyx respects him a great deal for his opinions in regards to Demyx's treatment and time with the Organization, and he takes almost everything Cassian says to heart. It's a lot of power to turn over to someone so casually, and he's been burned by it, but somehow they managed to mend the rift with a lot of fumbling on both sides. He doesn't know how to relate to people all that well, but he really wants to relate to Cassian. He cares enough to fight and kill for the man, which is how he knows how to measure these things. He wants to be there for him, in whatever capacity he can. (He can understand how Cassian can inspire loyalty in others) |

K-2SO
Cassian gets his emotional baggage, but Kay gets his questions about knowledge he just doesn't have. Demyx can trust that if he needs something explained, Kay will have the patience to do it in a manner where he'll come out understanding it on the other side. He got to know Kay because he asked him a question about interpersonal relationships, and it's made him see the droid as a source of information, as well as a friend. Although this sounds vague or unimportant, Demyx has found precious few people who could explain things in manners he could understand, and would usually not bother. Kay also cares about him, which he appreciates too because it makes him want to be a better person, and to find the capacity to care back |
