Alastor

The dislike meter is creeping down! Demyx got off to a very wrong foot with Alastor, when the man accused him of trying to hurt Naminé, which he definitely wasn't doing. As they encounter each other in more vulnerable settings, his initial dislike is slowly ebbing away. They might be able to be friends sometime in the future.

Eustace

Demyx finds himself chatting with Eustace from time to time. He seems a bit gruff, but nothing he can't handle. The only thing they really don't see eye to eye on is that Demyx is not a dog person.

Flowey

An interesting friend who always seems to be there when he needs him, Demyx is quite fond of Flowey and his friendly nature.

Ienzo

Ienzo not only holds his heart, but more importantly his trust. Demyx will turn to him first anytime he needs something, and he genuinely feels close to him. He's explored a bit of light dating with Ienzo, and intends on continuing that trend.

Ira

Demyx finds himself occasionally asking Ira questions, while being afraid of the answers. His journey of self-discovery is rolling along and Ira seems like someone he can trust.

Isabela Madrigal

To him, Isabela feels a bit like his partner in crime - the first major friend he made in Songerein when he arrived and someone he always has a genuine smile for.

Magilou

Demyx has not managed to encounter her a single time that didn't devolve in harmless flirting. She's definitely someone he enjoys spending time with and he appreciates her performative nature, as it compliments his own.

Nahida

A young lady who was the unfortunate victim of his leafever, he thinks she's pretty neat and very gracious.

Naminé

Naminé occupies a certain space in his life in that he feels like he has to hold back who he is. She's kind, she's definitely friend shaped, but his encounter with Alastor has tainted their tentative friendship. He's constantly nervous about scaring her.

Riku

Riku understands better than most the darker side of Demyx, and he has turned to him from time to time for a little guidance. He considers them friends, even if he's not sure if Riku feels the same way. Mostly, though, they banter and Demyx likes that.

Roxas

More than Riku, Roxas understands Demyx in a way that other people just can't. They're on the same journey and Demyx is running three steps behind, but Roxas has been a balm to his concerns and has made him realize a lot of things are just not as serious as he was thinking. He truly values the opportunity to speak, and Roxas has completely tilted his world view on its axis - for the better.

Sora

Sora is of course the man of the hour and while Demyx was worried about a rocky relationship with him, that hasn't turned out to be the case. Just like he gets along with Roxas, he finds himself getting along with Sora too. Sora's just genuinely nice. He's also pushing Demyx in the same direction Roxas is, just a little gentler.

Vanitas

Coming from a place of worry, fear and dislike, Demyx adn Vanitas have come a long way. They've gone from being potential/probable enemies to being tentative friends. Demyx is no longer afraid of him, and while Vanitas does have some edge, he feels pretty confident that they at least care enough about each other to help each other out. Sounds like a friend to him.
